The Bean is too good for run-of-the-mill table numbers or light up devices, instead they hand you a ginormous trophy when you order so they can spot the winner in the room.
First on the list is the curried tofu salad. This is NOT your average tofu! It has the texture of chicken and is smothered with creamy, spicy curry sauce. It also comes with peanuts, cashews, cucumber slices, carrots, raisins and two little house made crostinis (which I like to put honey on)
This beauty is known as the zesto pesto which is mozzarella, spinach, onion, tomato and pesto spread all squeezed together between two perfectly soft and chewy pieces of bread.
The Bean will always hold a place in my heart, they never fail to disappoint and I have mad respect for anyplace that tries to stick to their local roots.
